I'm back! Back with a new focus, new brand, and new ideas. I've been thinking for awhile about starting a new photography blog or website, but haven't quite found the right way to launch it. It's always hard to take that first step with something new! Then one day it clicked!
Deciding on the ONE photo from a WEEK long trip for the LAST post of the year was tough! But, here it is (finally): a canal /city shot from Burges, Belgium. It's hard to say if this is really my favorite, but it's definitely one of them. And, Bruges was probably my favorite city from our Belgium tour, so there you go.
...On this night, it was great to spend my mom's 60th birthday with her. Here's one of my favorite family shots of my sister, cousin and (maternal) grandma.
I was happy to be home for my Grandma's 92nd birthday this year! What an accomplishment... especially for someone who can get around on her own, goes to church nearly daily (but also finds time to golf and gamble), and is sharp as a tack!
...I was thrilled to spend two weeks with the women of Sigma Kappa and help them through this busy and exhausting, but exciting time. After the last round finished they ran across the street for some more group photos, not just near, but IN the fountain at the gardens! Here's one of their executive council...
This week I headed back to the US to advise recruitment at my sorority and alma mater. For many years they have taken a chapter and class photos at the start and I've had the pleasure of taking these photos for 5 years and this one was one of my favorites - a "crazy" shot of the senior pledge class. Aren't they adorable?!..
What a lucky, historic, exciting week to be visiting Manhattan, KS! Graduation aside, K-State completed this trifecta of championships, which is nearly unheard of! What better place to see it displayed than in the heart of Aggieville? Way to go Cats!
Just moments after she walked across the stage at her graduation from Kansas State University, I got a picture of my cousin Adrienne with her parents, Rick and Tricia. Her journey at my alma mater was one I'm so thankful to have been a part of and I was thrilled to be there and celebrate with them all on this day!
