This week we visited the National Museum of Archaeology. The building itself, built in 1890, was worth a visit! Here’s a view looking up in the great centre court. We enjoyed seeing the collection of Ireland’s gold  jewelry (dating back to 2000 BC), the precious artifacts in the Treasury, bronze age weapons, and various other things that were well preserved in Ireland’s peat bogs (including some human bodies).
