Today was a crazy busy moving preparation day. The last day to sell things off, give them away, or pack them ourselves before the packers arrive. This piece of furniture was one that we were sad to see go. Part of the dining set my parents first bought when they got married, it was passed down to me when I moved into this apartment. I didn’t think I had much need for a china cabinet, but it turned out I did (I have a tendency to collect glassware). And, I always had plans to refurbish a little with some modern hardware, etc., but never got around to it. Anyway, we were set on keeping it when someone called on our 6-week-old craig’s listing and came that night with several hundred in cash. Sold! Though a bit sadly.
