I'm back! Back with a new focus, new brand, and new ideas. I've been thinking for awhile about starting a new photography blog or website, but haven't quite found the right way to launch it. It's always hard to take that first step with something new! Then one day it clicked!
Even though I missed the reopening by just a few days, I got to sneak in St. Peter's (my family church at home) to take a look at the new renovations. It's beautiful! It got a total makeover complete with detailing work. Lots of changes and enhancements to help it through its next 100 years.
With the time and weather changing, Ireland is a much colder, darker place and I'm still adjusting to it. With only about 9 hours of daylight, it gets harder to good photos (plus everything else I need to do in the daylight), but I'll get there. Or, maybe it's time to focus on some good night shots! But, for this week, here is a reflection of a weeping willow in the canal.
It's feeling and looking like fall here in Ireland. I went on a jog to Herbert Park (one of my favorites that I used to live by). The ducklings I used to watch have all grown up, but on this day, a Blue Heron was perched on the side of the pond surrounded by falling leaves.
It might be (almost) fall, but the flowers are still blooming. Loving this colorful touch of nature vs. the harsh metal fence.
Just on my way to go shopping, looked over, and and loved this composition. Here's to this new, funny, European, city life!
