Day #161
This evening Andy and Eric went fishing on the East Fork and I tagged along. There wasn’t much light left, especially in the shade of a cliff, but I got a few photos as they worked up the river.
I was disappointed that the photos of the family of ducks didn’t come out too well. A mom with a dozen tiny babies had been trying for about a half an hour to pass the boys on the river. Andy and Eric tried to be accommodating, but any movement sent the ducks rushing off. When I came out on a rock to try to take a picture, that was enough to push them over the edge and they made a run, er swim, for it. I’ve never seen so many ducks move so fast! Consequently, the dim lighting, my lack of noticing the wrong camera settings, and their speed equalled poor photos though.
