Day #112

Congratulations to Stacy and Michael! I had the honor of attending my friend Stacy’s wedding in Wichita today. (Stacy and I spent most of our 5 years of architecture school in studio together.) She put together a beautiful vintage, yet modern, theme with an aviation inspiration. Her creative invitations made the blog a couple months ago! The Kansas Aviation Museum was the perfect spot for their reception! The guests had time to roam around the museum, go up into the old control tower, and check out the planes on display. This photo ended up being one my favorites because I felt like it most captured the spirit, and venue, of their event – a view of the back of the building (with wedding party photos happening on the deck), from underneath a plane’s wing.
