Week 37

Being gone for a month was tough - I missed this guy! So glad to be back! This week's photo is a selfie (ha, I know!) of us on a date night celebrating my return.

Week 32

I found this billboard/artwork near my apartment and it made me smile.

Week 30

... Our new apartment is in the area of Dublin called Rathmines. We're told it's nice, young, has lots going on, and is a good location. So far we've found that to be true. Looking forward to getting to know our new home better!

Week 28

One thing I love about living in a new city is exploring. Not just going to new places, but taking the time to really look around and appreciate things. We walked just a few blocks out of our way today and found some pretty little streets with interesting old buildings...

Week 27

We tried out a new bar this week and I was fascinated with the ice. When you order this drink, they form a huge ball of ice from a frozen block. I also loved the drink itself. 😉 The "Chocolate Bourbon Ball" is my latest favorite!

Week 26

I love being able to walk down a street in Dublin and look up to see things like this in a gap between the trees. At about 150 years old, this church is young by Irish standards, but is still part of the history that can be found on every street here.

Week 25

... One of my favorites is the grand front door surrounded by flowers and vines. So far we've seen wisteria, long stem red roses, and a few shades of pink flowers bloom.

Week 19

We enjoyed our 6 months in California more than expected and leaving so soon was tough. Before we left we enjoyed a few more days of sunny warm weather with some nice jogs on the beach... Here's what I'll probably miss the most!

Week 17

... running along the small canal paths (along the backyards of the huge, amazing homes there), then out along the main canal. In the evening, the yachts, boats, paddle boarders and kayakers are making their way back into the marina here, so it's always fun to watch!
