Day #183

Andy’s parents left this morning, but Shaina, Eric’s girlfriend stayed another day, so we all headed out to Treasure Creek. It took several hours to drive up to the secluded spot in the mountains, and our vehicle barely made it over the terrain, but it was well worth the trip. The scenery was straight out of movie, with meadows, a winding river, tree covered hills, and dramatic canyons with waterfalls. Because of the steep cliffs along parts of the river, Shaina and I spent most of the time perched up on the rocks watching the guys fish below. They had a successful day catching cut-throat trout (native to Colorado). It was hard to see them at some points, and the overcast sky made it harder to get a clear shot, but here was one of my favorite photos of the day that showed both of the them and the scenery.
